That is the one my wife told me about. She said she thinks the rest of Thailand may follow suit, but nothing confirmed.

Thank you for the link. So nothing about similar restrictions in Hua Hin yet. With the importance of alcohol to many member, I am sure we will hear pretty quickly if the restriction is extended here.

Yes, probably as successful as getting motorcyclists to wear helmets. Mind you the BIB may use it to maintain their tea fund, with a penalty of 100K and/or 3yrs imprisonment, it should be a nice little earner for them.

I tried to buy alcohol in Tops, BuriRam today, none on sale and a notice saying the provincial government had banned alcohol sales until further notice!!

Went to get a couple of bottles for tonight, the staff at my local mini Big C told me any sales of alcoholic beverages will stop tonight at midnight and is set to last for 10 days. Hopefully it is not true, but I am a regular there so is not to be taken lightly if you value your tipple.

You have till 10 pm curfew to stock up.

Looks like I'm in for a dry spell for the next week or so.
