Last month I was in Global, Pranburi and was able to buy an air conditioner and fridge with my Bangkok Bank debit card which was convenient because I didn’t have that kind of cash on me, also the same in Thaiwatsuda on the way to Cha Am.

But thet isn't new. I have used my Kbank debit card in stores and the like ever since I have had one, years ago.

^Until I renewed my Bangkok Bank card late last year, it was just an ATM card, not a debit card.
