Does anyone know if I can take care of this at Bluport or do I have to go to the main office?

You can do it at Bluport (prolly less chance of getting fined there also).

The one time I forgot (actually assumed they'd updated my 90 days when they had extended my visa as per previous years) I sorted it at Bluport. No question about the fine - I'd broken the law, so had to pay.

Just did my annual retirement extension . . .and I am pleased to note that the process ( at the new Cha Am Immigration center) was fast and easy. 30 min start to finish! Now I need to know how to figure my 90 day report. (I realize that the visa is a separate issue.)

We traveled to India about in the middle of my current 90 day process. So . . .how to figure when I need to do the report again. Do I go from the date of our return from India last week or from the original 90 day application about 40 days ago? Thanks for any help!

It’s 90 days from the day you returned to Thailand - the clock gets reset every time you leave and return.

How many days late were you? It's 500 Baht per day. Sounds like the IO was either:
1) Testing your knowledge
2) Playing a joke on you
3) Was trying it on and got cold feet

I think the fine is 2,000฿, irrespective of number of days late, so it was bonus. :D

My 90th day was July 27 so 17 days late (does one count the day due? I think so)

The immigration officer was a good guy, he laughed at my lame jokes and at the end said with a big smile "Try to remember next time".

Not sure if it's been mentioned before but if you have less than 90 days validity on your visa, the online system won't process your application. You have to go to Bluport/immigration where you will get a stamp up to the date of your current visa expiry date.

Scrub that ! My online 90 day was pending for over a week, never happened before in old or new system and as I am going away tomorrow for a few days I went to Bluport this morning.

He looked at my visa and adjusted his date stamp and stamped visa expire on 28 Oct so I presumed my 90 days due date would be the same but I've only just looked at my passport and underneath that stamp he's also stamped notify again on 13 Nov..........

I've never had an online application rejected so I am still presuming it wasn't processed as it would be later than my visa expiry date.

I submitted my online application on August 13th and received the rejection email today, of course without giving any reasons.

AFAIK their computer is still faulty, and we all have a 50% chance of success/failure.

It's amazing how the software engineers (?!?) at Immigration can take something that should be simple and turn it in to a failure prone mess.

When they first introduced 90 Day reporting online the software was a huge disaster. It only worked on old versions of Explorer (the code actually specified which versions it would accept) and the form fields used Java Script (as I recall) to send each and every keystroke back to the server for validation. Of course this took forever. I'm sure it worked great when the web developer was in the same room as the server; not so great if you were on a slow dial-up connection out in the boonies.

Not quite as bad now, but still a crap shoot as to whether it works or not.

Exactly, this system has been in place for nearly a decade, and they still can't get it right - its a simple submission form an 8-year-old could write. This is the same Thailand that wants to be a digital hub for Asia, build a land bridge and nuclear power stations ... and go into space.

They're either really shit at IT (a very plausible reason) or do it on purpose to make the aliens run around and jump hoops (even more plausible).
