Nah, scratch that!

Currently 5-1 to Villa, with the mackems now down to 10 men (after 4) and still 15 minutes to go! No idea whats happened there? Makes the spuds game look tougher though! :)

If Sunderland win at Villa tonight as I believe they will, I think that last away game for Spurs will be very tricky as they will be on a role and playing to keep impressing the new manager.
Let me get this right - if Sunderland beat Villa, that makes it really tricky for Spurs, but now they've been hammered by Villa, somehow that makes it even trickier? :?

I sense a worried man!

I'm not worried at all. I always thought it a tough game either way, whereas, you guys all seem to be treating it as a piece of cake!

But the result tonight and the way it was achieved was a surprise. I suspect one or two - or several -Sunderland players are going to see the other side of Di Canio, one well known in these parts. I think they kind of thought they were okay and coasted this game, a serious mistake.

QPR will be nice and relaxed and out to impress 'Arry on Saturday!

We, by comparison, only have the trivial matter of playing the Mancs on Sunday at Old Tatford, just 3 days after our europa cup semi 2nd leg v. Basel. I hope ManU are still on the sherbert.

A spectator maybe, but not unconcerned :(
Just not getting into a flap about it.

IF we win our final 3 games we have a good chance of CL qualification, but not guaranteed.
It's to close to call & will go to the wire, with a few twists & turns still to come.

'Arry got you there, this guy hasn't - yet.
Spurs are a much better side under Villas Boas, although we beat them and Arsenal beat us at Anfield, most Reds are of the opinion that Spurs are the best (or potentially) side to visit this year.

The bloke was always on to a hiding at Chelsea.

We'll get a Manager in who's whole system revolves around a high pressing game but crucify him when he doesn't play "JT".

Bit like Benitez, his system at Liverpool, which was awesome, needs a Volante (Alonso/Quarter back) and a Regista, a defensive midfielder but actually plays ahead of the quarterback (Mascherano/aggressive presser)

Chelsea have got 3 or 4 number 10s (Treqaurtista to carry on the fancy football language)

The moral is, Chelsea need a player cull, get a Manager and stick with him.

I think you should stick to supporting Liverpool BaaBaa.

I was however, impressed with Benitez's selection for the win against Swansea. That was pretty much how I would have it, although by all accounts Lamps was superb when he came on after Ramires injury - and that's a big blow. It was a thigh injury, but no authenticated news of his condition yet (edit - I missed it on the website, appears its a dead leg and should be okay).

We don't need a player cull. Who would you cull? The evolution is happening and that's right and its been happening over the last 2/3 seasons. We actually have a small squad - less than Fulhams, for example. For sure, they'll be some comings and goings, but we're just 2/3 pieces missing of putting us back with the top level.

Glad you countered my tactical analysis.

I will carry on supporting Liverpool, thanks.

I'd cull Terry, considering you asked, I think he's a Malevolent force, Lampard I'd keep, at least until he breaks the scoring record.

Lampard is alright, Terry is the biggest arse hole in football, I include our racist nibbler in that.

Smaller squad than Fulham? :lach:

Chelsea have got 1 of the top 3 most expensive, highest paid squads of all time, EVER!

Would you like to check the programme notes from the Fulham v Chelsea game?

Terry may well go, but you should put aside the rubbish written about him, topical this week. How do you know he's a 'malevolent' force? You don't, that's the bottom line. You have no knowledge of this whatsoever. You're just following type. Boring.

By the by, I hope he doesn't go. He is still one of the best centre backs in the premiership as he proves whenever he plays. He openly accepts he's not 1st choice anymore under Benitez, although that is questioned by many.

You pontificate about all and sundry, criticise, bemoan, complain, bitch. That's why I said you should stick to Liverpool.

And what tactical 'nounce was that? When did you last see Chelsea play?
