We've just been absolutely cheated out of that game. 6 minutes of injury time, yeah right, Liverpool score at 6 and a half minutes. Absolutely comical. Referee was a disgrace throughout - how could he miss the Sturridge challenge on Bertrand???

And yet again our central defenders were all over the place for the equaliser on 6 and a half minutes. When Terry doesn't play, we are simply just not as good, es evidenced once again.

He was superb on Wednesday and scored twice. We have a muppet manager who only kept Torrres on because of where we were playing. Taking Hazard off? To me, he and Ramires were our best players.

Still, I'd have settled for a point before the game but gutted as to how we lost it and I feel cheated. Why? Because Suarez probably shouldn't have been on the pitch to score the equaliser. How the referee missed his challenge on Ivanovic beggars belief.

Well, what can I say as a neutral.....two cracking games tonight and the battle for 3rd,4th and 5th in the Premiership is reaching fever pitch now !
After Suarez's equaliser I dont think scousers will dare to use the phrase "Fergie time" again !

You were the better team, Meh.

We've outplayed teams and lost.

Won't defend Suarez today though. Still wouldn't swap him.

I think today could well be Suarez's last ever game for Liverpool. He's going to be in serious trouble and because the ref was useless, he didn't see it.

Don't you think he's going to be in serious trouble then?

From the beeb:

Former Ajax captain Suarez accepted a seven-match ban for biting PSV Eindhoven midfielder Otman Bakkal in November 2010.

Edit - just realised its the same player - nice, eh?

I just think its a new low and will haunt him wherever he goes. Or maybe he just felt hungry during the game and fancied a bite?

Maybe his real name is Hannibal?

BaaBaa - the press are already having a feeding frenzy, its front page news everywhere, many quoting Souness and Redknapps comments.

For Gawds sake, he's already been suspended for 7 games for doing the same thing in2010!

But my angst is with the incompetent referee. I mentioned it at half-time, truly a shocking performance throughout, very poor.

Suarez apologises!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22242464

Liverpools reaction, with the MD cancelling a planned trip to Oz, suggests they know its going to get serious, all for a stupid, friggin' bite, FFS!

But my main gripe remains with the referee, gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Calming down now though, thats good for me, what, with only 3 hours, plus 6 minutes and 45 seconds, since the game ended!

If you're hit in the mouth with someone's forearm, I wonder if it's a natural reflex reaction to bite? Could be a left over evolutionary remnant from primal times? Maybe I should have been a lawyer. Pete
