Dunno what you Spuds are stressing about, Moyes has never beaten any of the traditional "Big 4" away from home in his glittering 11 year Everton career.

I certainly wouldn't take a point beforehand, the guy is a bottler, chokes when it matters.

Southampton up to 11th, JD will be chuffed.

I would expect a good scrap with Everton - tough one.
No way a point today. We got to win or the shit will hit the fan!

Looking forward to an intense different type of game from Spurs.

Well, it was pretty intense, but we lacked inspiration. Plenty of shots, not too many of them frightened Tim Howard. Sigurdsson and Dempsey don't do it for me, Walker certainly isn't doing it at the moment, Adebayor had a decent game and worked hard, Dembele was the classiest player on the pitch and therefore, obviously, was taken off in favour of Huddlestone, who has been conspicuous by his absence for most of the season.

In the circumstances, I'll take the draw - the fat lady ain't singing yet!

Come on Sunderland!!

Chelsea were crap today, but still won!

Mata hardly had the energy to drag himself off the pitch when substituted at the end!! 3 games in a week and 4 in 8 days and another typical week ahead - fly to Moscow for Thursdays game and then get back just in time to face the real Mancs ( ) in Sundays cup semi-final! Preffect preperation then!

Meanwhile the sousers mess up and lose me my banker on IKTS, just when I was on a nice roll - for once. :cuss:

Spurs? Remove Bale and they would be 9th, so guess he's needed back soon?

I learnt last season that you can't rely on Liverpool for anything apart from being unpredictable.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

Roberto Mancini says Manchester City would still be challenging for the Premier League and Champions League titles had he been able to sign his principal targets last summer.

"We would probably be at the top... probably also in a Champions League quarter-final," the City manager said.

"We had a chance to get three or four players that would have improved our team but now it is finished with."

All five top targets identified by Mancini last summer opted against joining City.
I don't think I'd be very impressed with this if I were a City player.

And I suspect any team that had been able to acquire those players would have been up there challenging for the title.

Liverpool were very lacklustre against West Ham,although they should have had a penalty when Tomkins brought down Gerrard in the second half.
That said,West Ham had a couple of decent chances to win it.
Suarez was poor by his own high standards, although no worse than many of his teamates.....Johnson,Henderson,Downing all England players....no wonder the national squad is threadbare.

Chelsea v Sunderland was another poor game. Two own goals and a deflection to win the game just about summed it up.Sunderland, like Stoke, are a horrible team to watch.....nothing about them,no flair, maybe one of them will get relegated this season ?.....thats Sunderland or Stoke not Chelsea, caller, although one can live in hope for the future !

The Spuds v Everton wasnt on in our area which was a shame as it seemed a good match. One point doesnt do much for either side although Sigurdssons late equaliser might give Spurs a pschycological lift ? :|

Citys win last night maybe good news for Spurs with United still having to play Chelsea and Arsenal and the title not yet secure ?

My thoughts precisely Mr. Zidane - and this was after a pretty shitty weekend as far as results go for Spurs.

The run-in is getting very interesting.

Don't think it changes much really.
Mind you, if you lost those 2 games, it could get a bit squeaky  :D

A face only a mother could love! Somebody hit every branch of the ugly tree on their way down. Rumour has it that Phil Jones will be the newly crowned 'Fugliest Footballer' snatching the title from the hands of Iain Dowie :D
