My husband was vaccinated at Cha Am hospital 2 doses of AstraZeneca (1st July and 23rd September) and I was vaccinated at Bangkok hospital
I was told to expect a 2 week wait, but they'd phone when it was ready. I'll at least get a progress report tomorrow.

I'm probably going to go watch the footie this Sunday, so it will be the first time I have to prove my vaccination status. I guess I'll be 100% reliant upon Mor Phrom. I must say, even with reduced spectator sizes, I am interested to see how they validate 2,500 vaccination statuses in very short time. Most of the people working the turnstiles are there because they can't manage a proper job. I expect disorganised chaos. I will report back on Monday - there may be lessons for everybody.

Yes I was told 2 weeks but it took 3
Also when they said 4 weeks for my husband they specified that they have a lot of demands hence the long delay

I'll be upstairs for the blood test anyway, so it'll only take a minute to ask. I'm not too bothered about the passport, it's the vaccine certificate I'm more interested in. HHH seem to be the only hospital not playing i.e. I've not heard of a single person actually receiving a vaccine certificate from them.

If it's so important to have a paper copy why not take a screenshot from Mor Phrom and save that on your phone and then print it off you wish?

I don't know if it is important, but the fact that every other hospital in Thailand are giving them to people, combined with the Government's announcement last month that they would be required tells me they might be needed.

I will need to prove my vaccination status for the first time on Sunday. Will Mor Phrom be accepted? I will have to wait and see, but I will be pretty P'd if I have a 4 hour round trip and I am turned away.

What happens to the people who don't have a Smart Phone, or can't get Mor Phrom to work. TIT, for everything else it functions on reams of paper.

Is there any requirement for the certificates yet? Only about 20% of Thais are vaccinated (full course) so it's not exactly fair to exclude people for regime failings.

The certificates, especially paper ones, prove nothing unless presented with an id card showing the same number. Otherwise it could just be a borrowed piece of paper. And unless the QR code () is scanned and checked online with MoPH it could be fake.

How many hours before the game do you have to show up for all certificates and cards to be properly checked?

Yes, I will be going to the football on Sunday. I will not be permitted entry without proof.

The requirement for entry is, as you say certificate + ID Card. How many Farangs have an ID Card? They have been working this system since early September, so I guess it works. I'm not so worried about the system, but the people doing the checking.

The QR Code on my Mor Phrom Vaccine Certificate does not work. OK, they can waste more time scanning the QR Code on my Digital Health Pass.

Didn't you show your qr code in an earlier post and it was working then? Mor Phrom has a "vaccine COVID-19 certificate" and "digital health pass" . Opening either one produces a different document but both have the same qr code which points to the MoPH website to provide a uniquely numbered certificate, which also has a qr code pointing to itself.

Yes, but your suggestion was, "Why not take a screenshot from Mor Phrom and save that on your phone and then print it off you wish?" I had already done that, but the QR Code on the vaccine certificate doesn't work on mine, my wife's or my son's. The Health Certificate QR Code is fine.

My certificate has been issued.

I collected my Vaccine Passport today. As the helpful girl at the Information Desk took my passport out of the tray, I noticed it was attached to several Vaccine Certificates, which she took to file. So, having seen it, I asked if I could have a copy. She said no, but did I need one? I explained I was going to the footie on Sunday and needed proof. She immediately printed one off, and even came and gave me instructions on it's use.

So they are available from HHH :D

@Big Boy

Purely out of curiosity. I've read a few reports about requirements for football spectators. An August report about Buri Ram said that spectators had to have proof of vaccine (at least 1 x AZ or 2 x Sinovac) and had to do the usual entry things (Thaichana, alcohol gel, temperature). Then wear a mask for the whole game and be distanced. 25% ground capacity allowed.

Another report in September (Siamsport) about Khorat also included the 25% capacity and vaccination record (without specifying number of injections) requirements. Plus a negative covid test!

So, just wondering what you will have to theoretically do on Sunday. And, naturally, afterwards, what actually happened.

Cheers.

At the moment we are being told:
Open to attend the competition in the stadium for 2,500 seats.
**Show ID card and evidence of vaccination or a negative RT-PCR or ATK test result from a lab or hospital certificate no later than 72 hours before the event. **To purchase tickets and watch the competition
Vaccinated is being stated as 2 doses of vaccine, or 1 dose of AZ administered for at least 14 days. Fans are crying foul, claiming Pfizer is better than AZ, and 1 dose of Pfizer within 14 days should also be allowed. The jury is out on that one at the moment.

Then you have to consider validation of who has been vaccinated. OK, fully vaccinated - Vaccine Certificate, Mor Phrom etc. How will somebody prove 1 dose of AZ or Pfizer? The ticket sellers at Ratchaburi have difficulty tilting a computer screen to show what seats are available. If you really want to blow their minds, try asking for a specific seat. Most don't have the intelligence. Trying to check 2,500 people within a couple of hours will become mind blowing for them.

Then, once you have a ticket, what is stopping you giving it to somebody else?

If would've been much simpler to just specify fully vaccinated. But that would be... err ... too simple.

Closer to 30% now (28.5%) according to the figures from khaosodenglish.com, quoted in the Covid vaccines thread.
