Re: Airport VIP Bus to and from Hua Hin
To catch the Bell bus in Suvarnabhumi airport:
- When arriving find their booth on the first floor just next to gate 8 in the far end.
- Show your prepaid booking number and you'll get a receipt, a sticker on your jacket and tag(s) on your baggage.
- Then just hangaround for departure, or in my case they resolutely offered to keep an eye on my baggage (behind the counter) giving me a chance to a meal upstairs without baggage.
I clocked the ride to exactly 3 hours (not stopping in Cha-am). Not fast but very comfortable, not crowded, maybe ten passengers (at 7.30 a.m.), enjoying the ride in a wide, reclinable seat with foldable leg rest and a small bottle of water compliments of the company.

Re: Airport VIP Bus to and from Hua Hin
Hi All
I am looking at using this service to get to HH in May 2014 and i have been on the web site and it has give me three drop-off points and was wondering if you can tell me which is closest to my hotel? I am staying at My Place hotel on Soi 74 Hua Hin
Option 1 - Bus Stop in front of Bangkok Bank at Cha-am Intersection
Option 2 - Dusit Thani Hua Hin
Option 3 - Hua Hin Bus Station
I have to agree with a couple of views on here that they have a big gap from 13:30 - 16:30 at Swampy - HH because i land at 12:30 and i think i would be pushing it to make the 13:30 and then waiting around Swampy till 16:30, thats the only downside i see
With thanks
Pat

Re: Airport VIP Bus to and from Hua Hin
The closest stop to your place would be the Bus station.
I was not aware that they stop at the Dusit Thani, is that something new??

May is low season and the buses will probably not be full. I'd book the 4:30 bus and if your flight arrives early and you get through immigration quickly before 1:30 just go to the Bell Bus counter and they will put you on the earlier 1:30 bus.tapp wrote:

They added the stop at the Dusit about two months ago. I have only seen one person get off there in about seven trips.tonymaroni wrote:The closest stop to your place would be the Bus station.

Re: Airport VIP Bus to and from Hua Hin
It stops at a toll booth right next to IKEA. If you could get off there, which I doubt, you could go toIKEA and it would also shorten the journey into BKK., taxi to BTS, BTS into town.
Re: Airport VIP Bus to and from Hua Hin
if the bus begins to stop to many places, a lot of people start losing interest as the
travel time gets to long, and maybe people start using alternative transport again, wich could
end this bus line and that would be bad because its the best service to and from the airport for the moment.

Re: Airport VIP Bus to and from Hua Hin
IMO this VIP-coach is perfect for transit Suvarnabhumi - Hua Hin. I used it a couple of weeks ago, I had extra luggage (golf-bag), which they charged me 100 baht for. I thought it was expensive, but found myself loosing the argument at the counter at Suvarnabhumi, hehehe.
Coming to HH, the taxi from Bus Station to the hotel in towncentre, cost 200 baht, I lost that argument as well. On my return I payed 120 baht for tuk-tuk, the same distance.
Returnticket can be bought at the bus-station in HH. Only cash, no cc.

Re: Airport VIP Bus to and from Hua Hin
What is the time hh to airport that posters have experienced. They tell you 4 hours, but I think that is worst case scenario my experience has been a 9am bus taking 2h50m and the other a 11am taking a little over 3 hours.
Re: Airport VIP Bus to and from Hua Hin
I normally take the bus from Hua Hin 18.00 and its vary from 3 - 3 1/2 hour
From airport the same in the morning.

Re: Airport VIP Bus to and from Hua Hin
I've used this bus service a lot. For my experiences, the bus to Suvarnabhumi has averaged 3.5 hours. Best time was 3 hours 10 minutes and worse was 5.5 hours during all the flooding near Hua Hin and Cha Am.
Airport Bus
Can anyone tell me if the Airport bus will be affected by the Bangkok shutdown. We were planning on taking it to Hua Hin on Feb 3rd.

I don't even think Buddha can answer that question.
