I've checked with my daughter in the US and they didn't check BP when they got their vaccine. Do they in the UK/EU?

With ref. to Med Park Hospital I have an appointment there next Sunday. This was my 3rd option after,HH Hospital and British Council. Looks like HHH is moving forward but sticking us with SinoCrap , BCCT and Med Park looks like AZ vaccine. Anyone else here got these options and what are your thoughts?

With the new restrictions am I allowed to drive to BKK and return the same day?

I had the same three options. I emailed MedPark yesterday to confirm that AZ was the vaccine being provided. They replied promptly this morning confirming that AZ would be used and that a second vaccination would be scheduled 12 weeks later. They also indicated that the hospital car park would be available for 3 hours free of charge whilst attending. I have subsequently cancelled my application for vaccination via BCCT.
It is also my understanding that travel is permitted within Red Zones if it is to attend a doctor appointment.

I’ve just returned from Cha Am hospital having had my first Sinovac vaccine, with a second dose of AZ scheduled for the 23rd August, just 3 weeks from today.

It all went as smooth as you could have expected and in total it took just over 2 hours.

I'm sat here thinking about the benefits of being Dark Red.

Until now, Dark Red areas have been getting priority with vaccines, and it has extended beyond wrinklies, and the 7 vulnerable groups. Will we get the same benefits?

I was expecting a 4 week gap, but hopefully 3 weeks is ok - I guess I’ll know it wasn’t if my arm falls off

Weekend city jab shutdown
A shortage in supplies of Covid-19 vaccines led to the weekend closure of 25 vaccination centres in Bangkok, while the "Mor Prom" app also cancelled all bookings scheduled for Friday and Saturday and has yet to resume offering new appointments.

Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC) Sanan Angubolkul said on Sunday that supplies had not arrived as scheduled, forcing all 25 vaccination centres operated by the TCC and private sector in Bangkok to suspend operations until new deliveries are made.

Mr Sanan said that since the TCC vaccination centres opened two months ago, they have given up to 700,000 shots to the public and special groups.

"We have no choice but to close our vaccination centres from tomorrow [today] onward until we get more vaccines; we hope there will be spare vaccines allocated by the centre at Bang Sue Grand Station to help ease congestion there," he said.

He said that prior to the suspension, more than 2.4 million people had registered with the TCC's vaccination centres, but due to inadequate supplies there remains a long waiting list.

What news story are you referring to please? Most of the articles are a couple of months old.
