It's great that Hua Hin will be a bubble, but how will visitors get here and will they be aware the town is dying?

If I had been spending the last year in the UK, I wouldn't want to go anywhere where the virus is out of control and vaccination levels are low.

I belong to various forums, most not Thailand related and the majority are saying they are staying home until this thing is well beaten. UK holidays are enjoying a boom.

^ The wife just reminded me without a nano second of hesitation......the arrivals will be Chinese from what she is reading. Apparently they are waiting at the starting gate? We'll see...... especially since Hua Hin is not a big destination (yet) for the Chinese. Pattaya, Chiang Mai and Phuket yes.

Maybe we and the Chinese tourists will have had the same vaccines.

Our Governor has spoken, and as if he's trying to wind me up personally, he's added a sort of PS at the bottom in the form of a QR Code

I've read the translations of both the letter and his magical (aren't I a clever boy) PS, and I don't see anything worth reporting. Hopefully it's just my translator blown a fuse and the clever people can find something of meaning.

26 year old female official infected from wife of Calcomp employee
53 year old female trader, infected in an at-risk community location (possibly similar to previous day which included traders in shops and stalls near the Dole factory).
