Agreed - both shocking decisions. The 1st wih Cole was silly, which probably had a direct consequence on Gibsons S/O - the ref in the game simply wasn't up to standard.

Good result for Spurs against Stoke.

Excellent result, good to get a clean sheet, long may it continue!

Yup, Stokes average goals per game is 0.83 (0.72 against) - so you did well! :thumb:

Pity I had it as 1-1 on IKTS? :? :(

Not a bad result today - 8-0 against the Villa. Normal service being resumed?

Meanwhile, Sturridge appears to be joining the scousers. Truth be told, it seems neither RDM or Benitez rate him enough and I have to agree in that he's not going to keep us at the top. So who are we buying?

A sobering thought for Villa fans is that last nights game could well be a rehersal for the Carling Cup Final at Wembley early next year !
Whats happened to Baa Baa ? Is he still having multiple orgasms after Saturdays 4-0 win ?
He's not serving some type of "Suarez style" ban is he ? :rasta:

I think he may be in HH for the holidays. If so, he never posts much when here. Pete

Your probably right Pete, although he did say elsewhere on the forum that he was in Blighty for this Christmas?

As for Carroll - no way!

I was just assuming based on prior years as didn't see the post that he would be in the UK this holiday. Dec. 15 was the day Aston Villa thumped LP 3-1, maybe sent him 'round the bend? Happy Holidays though BaaBaa, wherever you are. :thumb: Pete

I feel badly for him, and don't someone say he's laughing all the way to the bank. An athlete without a doubt, has speed, intimidating size and can play football. He proved that well at Newcastle. He needs guidance and coaching and he's not getting that. He'll die on the vine if something doesn't happen, and he'll just be another footnote in the annals of PL football....ultimately being replaced by another import with a name like Magabooboo. :( The British PL needs to take care of and promote homegrown boys first and foremost Pete

It does seem his time at Liverpool is numbered in view of the fact rather than take their own player back from loan, they're spending a reported £12m on a player that most Chelsea fans would agree falls short at the highest level.

Things are a mess at LP IMO. Who is this Rodgers guy?...someone who smooth talked the US owners. They're winning recently but I don't think it's a pattern yet, and may never be. Dalglish probably lost his job primarily for convincing them to pay so much for Carroll. They should have kept him as manager for this season before that decision was made. Anyway, it's OK to be nationalistic in sports and I think the EPL needs more of that feeling/thinking. Pete
