I'd recommend watching it.
Cheers, will have a look at that, something to watch on the opening day of this fiasco.

Has anyone managed to work out where the offside was for the first goal? I was half expecting VAR to overturn the penalty!

I haven't, I think the offside rule must have changed again for the World Cup.

This is the explanation given online:
The opening goal was ruled out after Pervis Estupinan swung a free-kick into the box. Michael Estrada’s right boot was offside after the ball came off Felix Torres, who was challenging Qatar goalkeeper Saad Al Sheeb.

Estrada then headed it back to Torres, who played an acrobatic volley to Valencia. Valencia then headed the ball into the back of the net.

There has also been confusion over why the goal was ruled out because there is a Qatar defender behind the ball. But because the goalkeeper is ahead of the ball, the last defender effectively takes the role of the goalkeeper.

So, how did people watch the opener? I used the True4U service, which despite offering perfect quality, and no annoying adverts, they did not have the dual language ability.

Also, how was your reception? Any buffering at all please?

I know people will disagree with me but BBC1 on HDPrime was perfect with no buffering for the whole match.

Thanks HHTel, but you know I wouldn't risk HDPrime - too many bad experiences. It has always worked 110% for you.
Did anybody use their VPN? What was it like? Any buffering? How about some of the other services people were going to use? Did you? Were they flawless? So many said they wouldn't use the Thai feed, there must be some feedback, surely.

I'll currently be on the True4U channel, unless somebody tells me something else is better. At the end of the day, surnames are pronounced the same, regardless of language, and we all understand "Goal."

I didn't bother with it last night as I expected it to be low quality football but as long as you have up to date equipment there is no reason for it to buffer.

I watch 2-3 EPL games just about every Saturday and Sunday plus midweek games and European cup games on catchup the next morning without any drama.

So what are you using Pagey? I too watch a lot of football with excellent feeds, but the legitimate feeds this time are only through Thai TV. Are you using VPN. pirate site or something else? Is your feed in English?

LOL, I don't do catch-up. It has to be live or nothing for me

And there was no buffering at all? That sounds like the exact same setup I've got, yet mine suffers regular buffering.

I will give it a go, but I have to say, I'm not confident. I'll make sure my most powerful machine is connected, thank you.

Not 100% sure what you are asking, I replied to Tel's post about HDprime so no VPN etc required and of course it's in English on numerous sports channels.

So during Champions League and Europa league fortnight of games you go to bed at 4 am every Wed, Thurs, Friday for 2 weeks? Too tiring for me, wake up in the morning, don't watch any news and straight to the football, you don't know the score so no different to watching it live.
