Hear what you say nevets, but -
Minimum wage in the UK 5 pounds 52 per hour - fuel 1.16 = 21% (I think)
Minimum wage in Thailand (BKK) 191 baht per day - fuel 41 baht = 22%
Yes, those who have got good pensions, and those Thais who are on decent salaries (and maybe the odd backhander) are OK. The working class Thais here, and dare I say it the farangs who are being paid Thai baht, are really feeling the pinch with the increase in fuel costs and the cost of living generally.
Whoops, sorry, just realised that this was a positive thread about how cheap it is to live here.

Nevets: Of course she will, because she will compare the prices to what she would pay at the local talat nat. No comparison. You can't compare the cost of living without taking into account the average wage.
It's all relative, until you come to fuel prices. See my post above...
I'm fed up with hearing my friends in the UK complaining about the cost of fuel. They've had it so good for so long and comparatively (see my post above) they're still OK.
When I arrived here, over 10 years ago, petrol was 9 baht per litre. Just think about it...
Rant over (for now).

eh??
taken from the urban dictionary, whatever that is

i presume the hizzous is where he lives??fo' shizzle my nizzle
Meaning:
1. affirmative; For sure, ma nigga
not necessarily in any racial context.
From a branch of urban (American) slang which adds 'izz' or varients of (ie izzle/izzo) to words to create a more rhyme like 'melody' to sentences.
ie
kid 1: "It's late, I'm heading back to the hizzous... you stayin?"
kid 2: "fo' shizzle my nizzle"
