Richard, I realise that was a joke, but it comes across as unfair. Both Bill & his wife are lovely people & good hosts, who have often in the past given myself & my mum drinks & food etc on the house (both in the original Buffalo Bill's and Fisherman's Wharf). And (until now) I never had to advertise the fact, either. They even held a fundraising quiz night for HHDRC once. You can't fault their generosity (or their food - although I haven't been to the new place yet). They are good people &, as I said before, HH needs more of those.

Can see you drinking in there a lot if the Stella is good.

Hi,
I was there 2 weeks ago, not impressed at all by the service, as the owner or manager was sitting in a corner with his wife and kids, but positively impressed by the quality of the food.
As for the beer, its spelled HOEGAARDEN, and its blonde beer, not red beer as per your website.
NEVER!!!! the owner / manager sitting in the corner with his wife and kids, the audacity of the man. Did you think of calling the police? And as for spelling HOEGAARDEN wrong put him up against the wall.

Yes, I fully agree you should be shot for the misspelling, but at least caned and dismembered first. Shame on you !!!
Or alternatively serve me a free one on my next visit in june......
By the way, do you know what is added in a cold-served Hoegaarden ?
