Affordable, internationally recognisable health insurance is readily available in Thailand.

Cost depends on age and level of cover.

Medical cover after a certain age can become problematic, so it is best to start early and maintain continuity of cover with one company.

We have just renewed our cover (wife and self) for the combined sum of Baht 54,000. Cover is Baht 5 million each worldwide excluding USA, Canada & Carribbean, in patient only with a deductible of the first Baht 10,000.

Gotta be worth the investment IMO.
