Personally I prefer Soi 80..94 is spread out, constant 2 way traffic means hard to walk up & down,(& this was before the major resurfacing mess). I'll pop into Wonderland sometimes, but rarely venture any further up this Soi.
80 is OK, it's kinda compact, & the ladies DO get to know you (is that a good thing or not..?) The drivers that night-crawl up & down there..constantly jamming-up the soi with their 4x4s need to go home & have a serious word with themselves in the mirror tho'..twats!

Reason I was asking about Soi 80 was that I accidently drove through the soi mid afternoon. I could not really look around as I found the soi a little narrow. But from the corner of my eye I noticed a few bars open and ladies present..
Well.... we'll see, son decides I guess :)

Unfortunately, the Hua Hin bar scene has got too big for that these days. I would be a full time 'Forth Bridge' job. By the time we got to the end, 20% would have been sold/re-named, and another couple of dozen bars would have shot up. It has become an impossible task.

I simply glance into complexes such as the Maldives or Wonderland, and wonder what is inside. How many bars? The karaoke bar area was mind blowing - these new complexes would send us doolally.

Soi 80 is relatively simple, but Soi 94 is such a large area with many bars in such small areas - no thank you. However, if you've got some time on your hands, a volunteer is better than 6 pressed men. :D

Thanks, so I assume under all those roofs, are small bars? Looks like housing! I have eaten at a Thai restaurant in that open space to its side.

Well it always was really, even for a bar and a couple of restaurants there! But at least I now understand why it wasn't being properly developed. It also demonstrates how infrequently I am in that area.

Me too. I'm only a regular down that road at the moment because I'm using it as a rat run whilst we're not allowed to drive East down Soi 94.

Well soi 80 was a little run down/authentic, few middle aged 'girls' and many not so eligible...
We went to 94, held up at Beavers which was quite pleasant, festive ladies screaming for drinks
Moving on to Wild Hawks is owned by a lady I know from Bangkok, where she ran a 'regular' bar in Minburi
This was a little different, 'older girly' bar with a present surprise as one of her staff came
over from Bangkok and she is a very nice warm woman, too much drinks and then home

Next time 94 and maybe Binthabat...

Not sure if the names are allowed, if not, my bad mods
