YEEEEESSSS! Another United fan on here to enjoy. Feckin' brilliant!

United will spend another 1.2 trillion this transfer window and achieve 6th place again. Why? Because United are a joke.

It’s a sad state of affairs these days where it’s the spending of money that seems to reward trophies. Just ask any Spurs fan that Image.

City spends a fortune - they win trophies.
Liverpool spends a fortune - they win trophies.
Chelsea spends a fortune - they win trophies.

Spurs and Arse spend nothing/little - win nothing but made finals and top 4.

United spends a fortune - win nothing, come 6th.

Rafael Benitez: Newcastle United manager to leave club

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/48746689

......."We have worked hard to extend Rafa's contract over a significant period of time," said a Newcastle statement.

"However, it has not been - and will not be - possible to reach an agreement with Rafa and his representatives."

The statement added: "The process to appoint a successor will now begin."

Newcastle legend Alan Shearer described the situation as a "shambles" on Twitter and praised the work of Benitez.

"A world class manager. A manager who performed so well in very difficult circumstances. A manager who understood the fans. Thanks and good luck Rafa Benitez, you were brilliant for the Toon," he said."............

Great signing. Him and Sissoko in the middle will be solid.

Tottenham have announced the signing of Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon for a club record fee of £65million.

The midfielder travelled to London to complete a medical on Tuesday after agreeing terms on a six-year contract with the Premier League club.

After an incredibly successful season, both individually and as a team, United have handed Rashford a new 300k a week contract. This now puts 5 United players in the top 20 highest paid footballers in the world (Sanchez, Pogba, Lukaku, De Gea, Rashford).

United make me sick. F***ing joke club! Inflate player fees - along with their players' egos - and salaries for everyone else. Under-performing, money chasing, selfie loving Prima Donnas.

Hope they get relegated the poisonous bunch of inbreds.

I should add that I have nothing against the United fans at all. They don't do the business. Judging from the comments section in papers, many have the same thoughts I do. Many think the current situation is a joke.

United are the PSG of the premiership. Grossly inflating the value of players.

Great role models for kids are the United players. Do a shit job then demand a pay rise. Post videos of a mate shagging a pillow on social media. Cause unrest in the workplace to push out a manager. Focus more on your clothing lines than your football. The list goes on... and on...

Unfortunately this is not restricted to just Man U, probably at least half of the EPL teams are full of over-inflated prima-donnas who get highly inflated wages for mediocre performance. Not sure who/what is to blame - probably a number of things, but one of them is the rise of the so called Agent - some of them are wealthier than the players!!

Lampard confirmed as new Chelsea manager. I like Lampard, hope he does well (but hopefully not as well as Poch).

...............................................................................................................................................

Frank Lampard has been appointed the new Chelsea manager, completing an emotional return to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues legend has now put pen to paper on a three-year-deal to become Maurizio Sarri's successor at the west London club, ending the wait for one of the worst kept secrets in English football to be confirmed.

'I am immensely proud to be returning to Chelsea as head coach,' Lampard said after the news was confirmed on Thursday morning.

Yes, good to see Frank back at the Bridge.

He might only have one season under his belt as a manager, ending with getting his tactics wrong in the play-off final against Villa (leaving it too late to change), but he has played under some of the best managers in the business and will have learnt so much from that and to top it all, he's a really clever guy and despite losing Hazard, still has a fantastic squad of players to choose from, now if we could just sort out that centre forward position......

After an immaculate season, United have offered De Gea an improved contract of 350,000 a week.

With your fixation about Man U you are fast becoming the Europtimiste of this thread!! Time to wind your neck in.

Man United continue to live off their years of dominance. As a club they are are globally followed and as a business they are highly profitable. Needless to say they can afford to pay above market values for their players and their wages.

Unless football introduces financial restraints this will continue. It happens in Spain, Germany, Italy, France....

If Spurs were able to go on a 25 year plus run of dominance then I’m sure you’d find their position more financially fruitful than it currently is.

Until that highly unlikely period of events occurs, just enjoy watching Untied collapse on the field as they aren’t going anywhere off the field anytime soon.
