Swimming pool for lap swimming
Re: Swimming pool for lap swimming
Have only been there once in December 2024 so cannot be sure of accurate costs and opening times. Perfect for lap swimming and on the day we went it had some lanes set up on the seaward side. I think it opens to the public around 1500 and non members pay a gig at a table next to the pool at the main entrance. I think it was either 100 or 150 baht to use. Definitely not a play pool and quiet in the afternoon but is used by clubs in the evenings/after school or work. I was not stopped at the main camp gate and just drove to the pool. Plenty of parking there. Others will know more I am sure.

Thank you. As far as I got with me from the google map link, they open 3pm weekdays and cost is Thb 100, - for no members but with a possibility to sign up for annual membership for Thb 650, - and then pay Thb 50, - per entry.
Btw, how was the water quality / cleanliness when you went there?

Water quality and cleanliness was good as far as I could see. Perhaps this is partly due to it being a pool for serious swimming.

I haven't been there, but the Google maps link that you posted has several reviews from people who have.Hahuahin wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 10:38 pm After several years of searching for a 50-meter public pool in the Hua Hin area, it now seems that I have finally found a swimming facility with a 50-meter swimming pool. Public may not be the right word to call it on a military base, but it is open to the public on weekdays. If there are any forum members who have been there and used the pool, I am very interested in hearing what it was like.
