I got fined 400b for parking half on red-white for literally 2 minutes. The BiB showed up just as I was starting to drive off and blocked me with his bike. In BKK I'd have gotten out of it with a smile and a 100b 'gift'. Not in HH :cry: . By the way, he took my license and asked me to follow him to the station to pay it immediately (wtf?). He only gave up and returned it when I said I don't have 400 on me.

If you didn't have the money on you then correct protocol is to NOT return the licence, rather confiscate it and write you a slip to confirm they have it. Your license should then be returned when you go and pay at the station.

I know that rarely happens, but that's a different story
