I gave that up Sarge, nearly a year ago... too hot and too expensive here for me to enjoy it.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Sarge, I seem to remember a post a while ago on here about about a guy like who you described getting the hump bigtime because he could not park his bike outside a bar in HH. From memory he started pushing over moped etc so he could park.

I have been trying to search for it as I think there was a photo taken either while it was happening or after but think that he was in it.

I will keep trying and see if I can find it, perhaps someone else can remember better than me.
Glad you are both Ok and hope you find who did it

Wow Sarge

I didn't realise the seriousness of the crash - sound as if you were both very lucky to escape worse injury. I'm glad your injuries are relatively minor. I sincerely hope that you get a result on this one.

I do not suppose that a visit to the vehicle registration dept with some tea money would give you access to the name and address if it was explained what happened. Obviously the police will not give you the details.

If you ever see the bike about and want some sort of retribution of your own. Go and stick 2lb of sugar in his petrol tank and he will never ride that bike again. Happen to the council rent collector in my home town in England when he got a brand new car.

Sugar mixed with petrol solidifies and forms a hard treacle like mixture. The rent collectors car was nearly written of with the amount of damage it done and was always back in our garage with fuel starvation problems (even after all the fuel system components and pipes were replaced).

May not pay for the damage on your bike, but some satisfaction may be gained from it.

Given the rumour mill, public access to the forum and loose-lips, I would think it is positively NOT the goddarned best thing to do!

I don't think that's quite true.
Sugar won't dissolve in petrol, sugar is polar, benzene isn't; which leaves you with granular sugar at the bottom of the tank which will be filtered out by the various fuel line filters if it gets picked up in the first place. I guess the worst it would do is cause the filters to block and maybe you'd need the tank drained.
