RICHARD OF LOXLEY

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

Certainly some strange looking buggers out there - and not just talking about the recent HHAD meetup!

Not much chance of the mole-rat becoming the new 'handbag' pet for the ladies then.

Here's another that's unlikley to win any fans (except perhaps as the Durex mascot)

The Blob Fish

Located 800 meters under water (roughly a half-mile down,) the pressure in the mesopelagic zone is 80 times greater than the pressure on sea level. Most fish use gas bladders to remain buoyant, but the pressure that far down would be too great for an average, gas-bladder equipped fish to efficiently survive. The blobfish's advantage is that its body consists of a gelatinous goo that is slightly less dense than water. This allows it to simply float along without expending any energy on swimming.

It's a wonderful world !

When asked about the pig having only 2 legs the farmer said that the pig saved his life 4 times. He told the reporter if a pig is that special you don't eat him all at one time

The amazing Amazon Redtail Catfish

Those whiskers appear to be moulded on - and that's apart from the colouring

Behind the Wat just before Khao Tao village there is a small lake belonging to the temple that has some huge catfish in it. You can go on a small pier and feed them.

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
