Just about anything any government does is a waste of money...These government fuel subsidy programs are just a big waste of the governments money and drag on the cost of living here.
...and it's not the government's money, it's the people's (as in taxpayer's) money being wasted by the government in most cases. Governments don't produce anything to earn money, they just take it from the people and squander it. A Government should provide infrastructure, national security, and internal security services like Police and Fire, and stay out of private business and our personal lives.
