Pizza style is a thin and foldable crust. Both sauce and cheese are not in excessive amounts (when I bite a slice I want a mouthful of pizza, not a mouthful of cheese) and there are enough toppings that you'll get some in every bite.
Totally sums it up for me, and far more eloquently than I ever could
Got take-away's from there 4 times in last week since first trying it, easier than eating a sandwich, no knife and fork needed, no stodgy stringy cheese and no mess. The pasta dish I had was excellent too.
We ate a really good meal at Bella Mia last night. The food was really excellent. The pizza is very good, just right. We were given little pizza dough bread with oil + grated cheese dip on the house while we were waiting. A nice gesture to make you welcome. My husband had Lasagne which I tasted, excellent, my husband commented it was the best he had tasted. Afterwards for dessert we had the best Tiramisu I have eaten followed by real fresh coffee. It does not brake the bank either when the bill arrives. The owner Peter is a lovely young man with a terrific sense of humour. He really does like to make you happy not only with his food, the whole experience was very pleasant. It is a quiet time of the year, his standards were very high. I will be going there again
I've eaten there a couple of times too and rate it right up there as one of the best Italian restaurants in town along with the little Delizi on Sa Song Road.
The bad news is that we heard a rumor that the landlord is building a small hotel next door and not renewing the lease on that space where the restaurant is... hope it's only one of those rumors that don't materialize.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
as a good friend of peter i can say that is not true at all about a hotel or whatever. the owners of the house will make a carwashbusiness in the back of the house and live next to the restaurant. funny how people come up with stories rumours or whatever. don.t forget its still a village we live in
Bella Mia is the biz! I had a lovely pizza there. The owner (german) is a brilliant laugh we sat and talked for about 1hr. He has a lovely wife and 2 nice kids.
I might be wrong, but it appears Bella Mia is being sold, as per a website.
So, if you like the food, thou shalt gather your pizzas while you may.

You are talking about the other Italian on Soi 94 not Bella Mia.

Yes Moja, I think you are right. The rumor I heard was about the Italian restaurant in the shophouse next door to the Japanese restaurant.

Bella Mia is further up Soi 94. Have heard the rumor you mentioned as well - in fact have seen the plans
It's a shame they are selling....I passed tonight and it was quite busy..maybe because some forum members read about it. Hope they don't sell, it really is good
I use Bella Mia a lot, and as said the food's great, but almost as much as that Peter & his missus are a great couple, making it a real friendly, relaxed, family-run affair. He certainly was selling it last week, they had a unit-width banner up but it's gone when I went passed tonight!? Maybe sold already (would be pretty lucky if have), or maybe changed their minds if they heard that the other Eyeties is up for sale.
They don't want to go back to Europe, said the high seasons are great but low seasons have been virtually dead in the area during recession years, doubt it's busy enough over the course of a year for one of them at present, let alone two... wonder who got the horses head then
