Re: British Embassy Hua Hin Representative
Never ceases to amaze what a rip of this is, you present all your paper work to a Locally Employed staff member, who earns in the region of 1,400 Baht a day, they print off a template then stick a batch of them under the nose of a Consular Official to sign, nice little earner.Morgan33 wrote:They charge a fee of 2315B plus an administration fee of 200B which can be paid by postal order from the post office or a bankers draft making it payable to The British Embassy.
I realise that the cost is set centrally and is supposed to ensure the "service" is cost neutral, and there is more than staff salaries to take account of, there are the on costs like the cheap bar in the embassy, The Queen Vic, the swimming pool and things like that, but it's still a rip off.
