Blimey SM, you've just brought back a flood of memories from my biker days. Travelling as a pillion passenger to a rally in the Coventry area (I think it was one of the Bulldog Rallies). Long journey, freezing cold, sleeping beside a bonfire (too late, and too tired to put up the tent) and waking up to the smell of bacon sarnies. Discussing the merits of Japanese vs British bikes around a bonfire in the evening whilst eating hog-roast pork rolls was just magic. :)

I always associate food with memories - a great meal with bad company is a no no. Mediocre food with good friends and a great atmosphere is something special.

They guy that's running Porky's is a friend and wants people to know it had to move from outside new Road Hole to outside coconuts. Also a second stand is opening outside Red Bar end next week.

Favourite food

I live in a porkless society without McDonalds, Burgerking, Starbucks or any other multinational chain. Human nature being what it is, you crave what you can`t get, so my first restaurant visit to HH is The Great American Rib Company, great ribs, shredded pork, curly fries, the works.
The American guy running it is very helpful and makes sure you get good service. I commend it to the forum!

Nearing completion of almost 3 weeks in Doha - no problem with Macs/Starbucks/Bugerking - the're all over the place - if that's what takes yr fancy - BUT - When I get back to HH ths weekend I intend to PIGOUT on Pork BBQ, + a good Sunday English Breakfast with PORK sausages, & BACON. - with HP sauce.

Met up with an old friend out here - his party piece is drinking whole bottles of HP Sauce - can you believe it?
