Margaret, I’m no expert on meat products, but to me goat tastes a bit richer and slightly tougher than mutton.

Richer I can handle. Tougher - no! But I suppose it depends on the cooking. Mutton is being promoted again in England because it's good value compared to pork, beef and even chicken now. The key though is cooking it very very slowly, so for stews and curries it should be OK.

Get someone to make goats-cheese for you!!
toss lots of it on a bed of salad, rucola, apples, raisin and a balsamico dressing!
