Has anybody seen the latest order from the Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan? I've been regularly checking the usual places, and have even written to the local Covid centre asking for it. The only response I've got is 'wait'.
The CCSA Announcement was 4 days ago. He seems very slow this time.
Yesterday there were 3 stories in Thai newspapers that translated something like:
Black Mountain Water Park has re-opened with restrictions. I must admit that announcement was a real WTF moment for me, but I'm sure it will help prevent Covid.
All prisons in the province will be closed to visitors.
All other restrictions will remain in place.
OK, if that's his decision, so be it, but I would like to see the actual order. So, does anybody have a copy please?
Well I asked for them, and I think these are the letters pertaining to Prachuap Khiri Khan restrictions. Whoever wrote them has totally confused my translator, which in turn has confused me. Can any of the clever people summarise please?
I've still not seen any definitive list of current restrictions from our governor. However, I notice that The Hyatt is advertising their re-opening of pools:
We are very excited to announce that our swimming pools ♀️ are re-opening daily from 7.00 AM – 7.00 PM.

Where I am the pool and gym re-opened today. For the gym, social distancing and wearing masks was still required.

Interesting, are you in Prachuap at the moment?
Nope, Thap Tai..Official notification today
But the official notification was sent by the Governor of the province today to our Juristic Office (also in Thap Tai) and they sent it on to residents. I certainly saw the pool being used earlier after all the tape and no swimming notices had been removed.
A quick precis/paraphrase of the provincial order on 19th May, posted by BB above.
1. Restrictions relaxed for swimming pools, amusement parks, water parks. Covid-19 precautions must be in place.
2. Covid-19 prevention management for schools and educational institutions.
2.1 Pre-term activities and registration must be managed in Covid safe ways without overcrowding and using DMHTTA.
2.2 Schools and educational institutions with less than 1000 pupils must have Covid-19 safe practices and follow DMHTTA etc.
2.3 Schools and educational institutions with 1000 upwards pupils must use methods such as online learning, splitting attendance days at school etc to keep crowding down and follow DMHTTA practices.
3. Covid-19 management at gatherings other than schools and entertainment institutions.
3.1 Please cooperate to postpone or cancel events and celebrations in private or public spaces except for traditional events with not more than 50 people. Permission must be obtained from district disease control and must follow public health office rules.
3.2 No events of more than 50 people unless official events.
4. Refers to OQ - Organizational Quarantine and use of border patrol police facilities as quarantine places.
Then the usual penalties etc for breaking the rules.
I expect an official English copy will appear in due course. Maybe.
