In any event, scotch eggs are freely available in HH and we don't need to be told what they are.

Don't be to hard on the chef(s). The thread kind of meandered off into 'If you can't buy it, or you can but it's horrendously expensive, you can make it yourself'.

I think it'd be a great idea for a new thread with recipes (using locally bought produce) for western favourites. I won't start it, because I can't cook, but I'll try and nudge Mr.VS to contribute.
