No I’m sure it won’t, although he’s raised his head again recently and of course a lot of Thai Nationals are now very disgruntled with the current situation- but the Generals will hold tight.

The 1.5 million doses of Pfizer vaccine donated to Thailand will come in later this year, but 20 percent of the vaccine must be allocated to foreigners in Thailand.

And the UK's response ........ yep, no response!

That link states 'foreigners' not specifically US citizens. Of course, if that's true then that includes Myanmar, Cambodia and any other non-Thais.

Another article today indicated 300,000 are allocated for US citizens. I'll post if I see it again, and any Embassy announcements down the road.

I, also had read that. Can't remember where, but I would take that as nearer the truth.

This reports foreigners, but does not state nationality. It'll probably go to Burmese and Cambodians :run:

Until the US embassy comments I don't think I am going to believe much of what this Thai general has to say.

Another report stating 20% to 'foreigners'. The comment with regards to Japan's donation is interesting:
This comes on top of the about 1.5 million doses of Pfizer vaccine is expected to
arrive late this month from the United States as ‘donation’ but with the
precondition that 20% of the 1.5 million doses needs to be administered to
foreigners in Thailand.
 Apart from the United States, Japan is set to donate similar amount of AstraZeneca
vaccines which it has said cannot be administered to military officials.

I tried just now and got the same message, but the numbers in Thai. Translated I got number 11473. But on the Hospital Website i cannot find anything about the date. Did anyone of you get a phone call or SMS that the vaccination is postponed? If I don't look at the forum I would not know it and would go to the Hospital on Friday.

All of the Market Village/Bluport/etc vaccinations for this week have been postponed. Tomorrow, they will be finishing the 11 June people. Nobody on our lists has a date yet.

I think we will be in the next few batches of vaccine. There are 1910 in front of me, so I would guess with a number of 11473 you will be end August/early September.

^^ There are 156 from these later registrations. Tomorrow's numbers go up to 5732, as BB implies (1910 before). It's a start.

I am delighted. I was worried we'd all slipped off the radar. I'm British, and we're famous for queuing - I will happily await my place in the queue. OK, we were going to be vaccinated this week, but shit happens - we'll be done in Thai time, which is probably as good as we could all have hoped for.

From the listing of 6th July I see that they have vaccinated (or at least scheduled) about 1800 people, so it should not be such a long time to nr. 10000 or 11000
