It's a start but where does that leave us younguns? I have a feeling farangs under 50 won't see a vaccine in Thailand at all (unless they work in a government school).

I’ve tried clicking on the link but it won’t open just “[404] Page Not Found!”Osandpo wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 11:06 am https://members.bccthai.com/BCCT/asp/ne ... ponsorID=0
For what it’s worth, the good folks at the British Chamber of Commerce are planning “to coordinate and work with the Department of Disease Control at the Thai Ministry of Public Health to identify a solution [for us oldies and those with serious medical conditions who’ve been unable to register for vaccination]. [BCCThai] will also examine potential solutions with other bodies that support British passport holders in Thailand.”
They’re asking unvaccinated/unregistered Brits over 60 and/or with the high risk medical issues to give them contact details

Done that. Seems very straightforward. Let's see what happens.

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
It does look like it’s going to be a choice of either paying for it at a private hospital or waiting until next year. Or perhaps moving to a tourist Mecca…
Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
Did you get any acknowledgement of registration?

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
The US Embassy fortress site says US citizens can be vaccinated in Thailand and should register at the appointed sites. Really? I can get more info from the Forum than from the US Embassy. The best thing about the embassy is that I no longer have to go there once a year a buy their letter to Immigration.Osandpo wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 11:06 am https://members.bccthai.com/BCCT/asp/ne ... ponsorID=0

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
No surprise, but we'll soon be needing another chart for those that get Covid after having the Sinovac jabs ...
Double-jabbed immunologist contracts Covid-19
An immunologist has found herself infected with Covid-19 despite having received two shots of the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine.
Dr Prapaporn Pisitkun, from the Division of Allergy Immunology and Rheumatology at Mahidol University's Faculty of Medicine at Ramathibodi Hospital, said although she had been fully vaccinated, antibodies created by the jabs had decreased by about 30% in just two months.
A fortnight after the second injection, she had tested her level of immunity, or NAb (the neutralising antibody that is responsible for defending cells from pathogens), and recorded it at 92.9%. However, just two months later the level of protection afforded by the vaccine had fallen to only 65.7% and that was around the time she tested positive for Covid-19, Dr Prapaporn said.
She suspected that she contracted the highly transmissible Delta variant from a colleague who had also received the same vaccine, after spending an extended period of time with them in an air-conditioned laboratory.

^^^
The article fails to mention the most important part. Did she get sick? If she didn't, then the vaccine might have done its job.
