Can you send a few clouds up here, please? Can't remember when it last rained, it must have been about 3 months ago. I have to refill the bird bath every day for our little feathered friends. There was a queue today to have a bit of a splash - it was great fun to watch them having so much fun.

There was none as far as I could see on the north of town. I went to pick my girlfriend up from work and the rain had been very heavy there; the power even went down for an hour. But here, nothing!

Out where I live we had the lightest of showers that lasted no more than 2 minutes. On my bike ride this morning, no more than 3kms from our house, there were still puddles from yesterday's rain - you're either lucky or unlucky!!

Poured down with rain up Soi 88 yesterday about 6pm for 15 minutes but nothing since. Temperature still oppressive.

Huge rain over here and heading into the gulf in your direction. Wait to see what your late afternoon brings. Pete

Look at this satellite map from 1700 hours. We're all surrounded! I can see more coming over here in Rayong but I don't know about the Hua Hin "wall" which seems to be blocking things over there. Pete

Yes sadly it never made it to us yesterday and today looks like more sun with a bit of hazy cloud.

Well, after all the wet yesterday over here the termites made their first appearance of the year last night. Thousands of the buggers. Outside house light blackout conditions now for the next month or so. Dark and thundering again now but no water yet. Seems south of me out in the Gulf. Pete

I think there is a small boy on my roof, taking a pee and waving 'it' about.

This was expected this year and will affect us here. Pete

Met office sees below-average monsoon in 2014

(Reuters) - India is likely to have below-average monsoon rainfall in 2014, raising the possibility that drought could stoke inflation and hit a sluggish economy dependent on the elements because half the country's farmland lacks irrigation........

I love this time of year!

Finally, the rain and thunderstorms are hitting us on the Hua Hin side of Bangkok. Cools you down, great to watch and I love the sound of a real downpour. :D
