Have since started watching as all seasons are on iplayer and must admit I'm thoroughly enjoying it. :thumb:

1 season down, 5 to go......

The Bureau

I have just finished all 5 series of Le Bureau(des Legends)

Could be described as the French version of Homeland( which happens to be my all time favourite TV drama) It's a geopolitical drama, espionage, French secret service, war on terror Syria, etc

There's comparatively little 'action' in it, and it does move quite slowly so not everyone's cup of tea. I think this adds to it's authenticity and it's why I've generally preferred French cinema to Hollywood movies.

But rather like Better Call Saul(similarly paced but different genre) I found it quite addictive

Recommended!

I watched mine via pirate bay but I believe it might be on Amazon

I gave episode 2 of Intergalactic 15 minutes, but have now deleted the lot from my PC. Utter crap, I'd rather watch a re-run of Blake's 7. Shame.

Will give that one a swerve then. Thoroughly enjoying Pennyworth and For All Mankind at the moment. Time to crack on with The Expanse again now that I've caught up with the books.

Gonna give this one a go, however the tagline "turning spies into legends" did give me a wry smile as I remembered the Rainbow Warrior debacle in New Zealand

Big Boy wrote: Fri Jan 15, 2021 8:54 am I binge watched it a couple of days ago. A little confused with the constant toing and froing date wise, but really enjoyed it overall. I was constantly watching for the Hua Hin bits, but missed them.
Just managed to finally watch "The Serpent " series on BBC and yeap it was captivating and yes the constant time surfing, especially towards the end episodes a distraction.
Richard Neville's book is very compelling and well worth a read, if any want to borrow my copy catch us when we finally get back to LOS.
Only became aware during the read that I had probably encountered Mr CS on a train heading south.
There have been others on the board who posted meeting CS too.
Scares me to think about it !

There’s a police drama recently showing on ITV in the UK called Viewpoint, although the last episode was pulled after one of the lead characters Noel Clarke, was accused of “misappropriate behaviour”!! It’s available to download and I’m watching episode 4 of 5 tonight and finding it very watchable.

Is the last episode available? Otherwise it would be like reading a book missing the last page...

I do hope so, I've found the first 2 episodes a bit slow... Seems to me the plot is mainly based on the fact that nobody ever closes their curtains!

Agreed, bit of a plot hole but at least there are no dressy up characters with super powers :duck:

Your probably correct d-m although I think episode 3 and 4 get better - I’ll be watching the final episode tonight so hopefully I’ll enjoy the intrigue - they inferred a twist?
