Well in the 5 years I have been in Hua Hin I do not remember any rain in February.
It does not matter where you come from, it's where you are going that matters.

Well last year we had some rain in either February or March, I can't remember exactly when now, but if you look at the weather data provided on the right hand side of this page, they indicate wet weather on 3 days in March and I believe they said the same for February, but the weather will do its own thing and appears to becoming less predictable with every year.
edit - you are correct musungu, I've checked and there was rain in January and early March, but none in February.

Rain In February!, sounds like I should get a light weight rain slicker and a Vietnam style hat
for these times. I hope you are all getting more sunshine now. Oh! I hear my neighbour shovelling off his driveway as we had another inch or 2 cms of new snow over night. I would rather take the rain.
If I actually owned a swimming pool It would be a block of ice! Where I live it is better to have a covered hot tub above ground.
Take care, all of you lucky Hua Hinians. Enjoy living with temperatures above 0C.
I will certainly enjoy the heck out of life, if I ever get my stuff together
and move over there for at least part of the Winter every year!

Sounds like the Weather has gone to the hot side again! Two more days and I will see for myself.
I hope I don't roast my chestnuts, in the NE of BKK when I go with my Thai family to visit the
ancestors Chinese graves near Sara Buri.
If any Canadian expats in HH want me to bring something for you, Sorry too late. My suitcases are
already 22.5 or more kgs each.
-25c here today, was down to -30c last night. I really do not enjoy living here when it is that cold!
I know I know, whine whine.

What a great run of cool evenings we have had. 24 -28 every night it seems. Last night I turned on my A/C for 20 mins, the first time I have used it since before Christmas.

Photos of weather in Loei Province yesterday:

I have a house up there. This makes me tempted to move there full time, but lack of access to Villa Market is putting me off the idea.
