I don't mind the rain and greyness so much, though it's what I came from the UK to escape. But the satellite tv has been down since the rain arrived, and I'm stuck in my hotel room.
Luckily the internet is still working and I have some books to read, and I bought some dvds on the beach a couple of days ago so I can watch them on my laptop.

Does anyone know how long this is likely to last?

Historically you get rain one or two days a month at this time of year, so it's nothing unusual assuming the sun comes out tomorrow!!

According to the Thai site, Hua Hin had 15.9mm in the last 24 hours. Not bad, but I don't think they have their gauges under most of the downpours I've experienced at my house, as I always have 6" flower pots filling up to the brim during these stormy periods.
