How did you find HHAD? - Nice! How was it for you?

How did you find HHAD? - In the Polyclinic

How did you find HHAD? - I was born in the 1950's, then I went to school, left school and got a few jobs, retired, travelled round the world, found a home in Hua Hin then ... lo and behold ... I found it!

Hi all, found this site looking for one of my old favourite guesthouses- "the sirin" ... it is probably a little dated now looking at some of the new places you are promoting... I have been to Hua Hin probably 25 times over the years.... I am a golf nut and cant think of a better place to go with the lads... Back again this march looking forward to it.... Can anyone tell me how to contact the sirin or persuade/reccomend something similar

How I found it

Post by Jay Larson »

I found the site while looking for some background on a local school to which I've applied for work. When I typed in the name of the school, HHAD was the first hit I got. In the days since, it's been my main source of information for planning my move - thanks!

Welcome Jay,

I'm glad to see that you are finding this board to be the wealth of information that many of us do. Please feel free to ask any questions that you can't find answers to - the guys on here often amaze me with their wealth of collective knowledge.

Thanks Big Boy - This is the former "Jay Larson," but I changed the name because the e-mail address it's linked to will soon be defunct. I like "Mr. Kite" better anyway.
My wife and I are currently working in China, but fell in love with Thailand during a month-long stay there about three years ago. We're hoping the job I've looked into pans out, 'cause what I've seen of HH on the web looks great.

Mr Kite I hope your not planning on working in real estate or at one of the local schools and have some other employment in mind.

Real estate in Hua Hin will get you either cheated or killed.

Somtawin is getting slammed.

Webster is in the process of closing down.

Stamford's old boss came back with an axe so a scab job might be available there you could replace somebody who got the axe!

That leaves Prathumnana Kindergarten or whatever by the Hin Nam and the Suan Dusit as the only schools setting the world on fire.

I was referred to the site by a guy on the website at the FLB Pattaya.
I'm sure quite a few of you guys will know the FLB Bar on Walking Street.
HHAD is brilliant.......so much info on the site......gonna have hours of fun trawling through all this.

I heard about it in the guesthouse that has since changed to the (in)famous blowjob bar; don't suppose there is much talk of web surfing there now

I would say quite a few members who found the site whilst in HH probably saw a buissiness card in the toilets of a local drinking establishments seams to be a favourite advertising medium for HHAD.

I always try and find a forum if I'm visiting somewhere.
Forums tend to give you a better idea of whats going on beyond the glossy brochures that are pushed out by hotels - real people talking about real things!!!! (OK, mostly real people!)
You never know, you might even meet up for a pint with one of the posters!!!

Cheers
