I'm not a great fan myself, but Parahandy is. He makes it himself when the limes are super cheap (because he's a Scot!).
It lasts for a long time, or at least until the limes are cheap again. I think it's easy to make, but not being the master chef (just the sous chef) I may be wrong. The chef is in bed, but I'll ask him tomorrow about the best recipe and post it here.
Save your jam jars - you'll need them...

People if you have anywhere that sells any of the ready made Pataks or Sherwood products they both make a very good one.
Not a great fan of it, but the more you have it with your curries, the more you will get to like. Must agree though it can be an aquired taste.
Try that Villa store that was said to be opening up or even Tesco's

Lime Pickle
Richard - if you say Pretty Please I'll fetch some over in Oct. Meantime, the Thai Visa forum were publicising a new on-line shopping service for Expat goodies. Don't know if it has got under way or how it works.
Pataks pickle mixed with some mango chutney goes down a treat on poppadoms.

Food of the gods.
Make it yourself from a recipe on the Internet. I have only seen it in Pattaya and Little India in BKK.
You may be able to start a little cottage industry.

to get you started but just Google with Lime Pickle Recipes for many more.
I'll sample a couple of jars for you when you've done it.

Sorry Richard,
We did have a dozen cases of Sharwood's Lime Pickle last year, the last Jar sold about two months ago. Not the fastest selling item we have stocked for sure. One of those things you either like or don't, seems most people don't.
I'll see if I can get a couple of cases put on the next pallet of Sharwood's products but can't promise if they will let me have a small order of it. But I will not be ordering it in any large quantities for the foreseeable future.
It's really easy to make yourself, why not set the good lady to task, I've got some really good spring loaded, sealed storage jars. I'll let you have one.
