Hua Hin or Pattaya?

Post by Julian »

Hello Everybody
I love Thailand and have been here many times.Mostly Pattaya.I would like to know if there is any person reading this that can help me.
Whats the main difference between Hua Hin and Pattaya?
Is Pattaya cheaper to stay long time than Hua Hin?
Is 40000bath a month enough including everything in Hua Hin?(Room,Food and pocketmoney)
Can I get a good guesthouse for 8000 bath a month?
How much is normal to spend on food?
Looking forward to visit Hua Hin because Pattaya is getting to greedy
and unpolite to its visitors for my taste.

See you JULIAN

If you manage to live for 40000 in Patta, I will be supprices if you dont do the same in Hua Hin. It is not more expencive, but quiet and relaxed.

Our two last trips to Thailand was to Hua Hin, and I go next week as well. :P :P 8) 8)

yes i dont see why you couldnt survive on 40,000 a month in Hua Hin
i have been here for jsut a couple of days and my money seems to
be going further than in pattaya, but be warned Hua hin is nothing like
Pattaya it is a total chill out zone and the s+x scene is alot more
reserved than you may be used to (no sabailands, gogo's and walking street/soi postoffice styles)

That figure would be enough here, you can rent a furnished house for 8000 per month. meals are cheap too if you stay away from the tourist restaurants near the Hilton. I guess depending on your spending habits both places should cost around the same.

All over the place, take a look down some of the sois, Salawat, Rainoon, Behind the Grand etc. For that price you should get 2 bedroom fully furnished. Unfurnished places go for 4-5000 baht.
