Fecking nora....I'm a perv!

Fully appreciate and understand the expat sentiments but why knock a guy who's maybe saved all year to have his couple of weeks sniffin in greener pastures. If he has fun there good on him.

bollocks
it does come from years of experiance of being in thailand and hua hin
and we do try not to be biased on here but sometimes it is difficult esspecilay when it comes to such establishments like the hilton

Jim if you enjoyed the place its up to you im sure you are not a perve or deviant
you obviously touched a nerve with red dwarf ( i wonder if he couldn"t trap off in there ) joke red dwarf !!!! take a chill pill

Don't really think anyone was having a go at you, Jim until your comments about opinionated bollocks.
Those who are over for a few weeks holiday, maybe even staying at The Hilton, are probably going to take a look as it's now about the only late night venue in town - the hotel's seen to that. I don't knock them for going, but I will give my opinon of the place and that is coming from someone who's seen firsthand how spoil tactics have been employed to adverserly affect small businesses nearby. And all that happening whilst The Hilton was building up its own meat market.
I'll always stand by my comments that are directed against the hotel - they're two faced shites.
Interesting what you say about the pool, Ricardo. I have known people in the past who've been allowed to use it with their Club membership. Maybe they know who I am  ?
I will still prefer Palm Hills - 50 Baht to use the pool for a day and normally deserted, other than staff, during the week. Now that makes me feel like a millionaire for the day.

The whole purpose of this forum is for people to share their opinions and information. Our opinions are just as much bollocks as yours. But its funny isnt it that most of us that live here share the same opinion.

The Hilton is great for the two week wonders who come, drink, shag and leave. However for those long termers and permanent residents who live here and can see past the facade we just see it for what it is ... a tasteless, two faced hole.

2 week wonders

Post by PeteB »

As a typical two-week wonder (well perhaps three), I can only agree with the ex-pat contingent.

Nothing really to recommend the place - a true blot on the landscape, in more ways than one.

There is however a bright side. At least it keeps some people out of town!

Can anybody tell me where the Hilton is. It sounds just like my kind of venue. I would fit in well with all the other drunken Farang twats.

Try looking for the first "high rise" somewhere near the beach. It used to be called The Melia.
If you talk to people who were here around 1995, you would have seen no "high rises". Not allowed.
Times change and it was The Melia that started it all off.
I'm going to do some base jumping now. Must be the highest point on HH

Sorry about this guys (and gals) but nothing on here since my original post in any way persuades me that I am wrong. My use of "opinionated bollocks" meant that many people who post here do do only to voice their own views rather than to listen to those who may have different takes on things. All the derogatory comments about the Hilton have, I'm sure, a high degree of validity but why does this allow you to metaphorically gob on anyone who may enjoy, once a year or so, a tasteless time with lousy music, overpriced beer and a load of unattached bar girls? The point I was making is that the Hilton is what it is...take it or leave it (and it's clear most on here leave it), but don't be so judgemental on those who see things different.

I may be a 2-weeker, as you call us, but I am soon to be an ex-pat in HH and I shall still occasionally go to the Hilton, have a "fun" hour or two and then regret it. It's called getting pissed.

Top Man Jim
do what ya want when ya want
but the hilton is still bobbins !!
its a shame they wont allow any body to open up in competition in the center of town
but they know they would be bankrupt within a short period of time
it is shame that people have to put up with such low quality night life

Hilton

Post by thailooper »

I've sat back for the past few days sniggering at the various comments about the Hilton. Not trying to sound diplomatic - I agree with with what everyone has said - with the exception of the comment about people's opinions been a load of bollocks ! The place is good, bad, expensive (for drink) and cheap (for women).

Everyone is entitled to to their opinion - if we all agreed on everything, it would be one boring sh*thole of a planet !!!

The Hilton has something for everyone - a friend of mine picked up this beauty outside the loos one night - took her home to uncover a pair of balls bigger than his own - well, the place is a bit dark !!!

I much prefer the City Beach disco - although at 6' 2" and grey hair, I stand out like a spare prick at a whore's wedding ! The massage while taking a piss in the gents is rather relaxing - even if the little guy has to stand on his tippie-toes - maybe he should wear the boots those skinny beauties on stage wear !!

I hate giving money to the Hilton - but then I just hate giving money !!

Long live opinions (and bright lighting of course) !!!!

I'm very surprised, all talk about Hilton and City Beach only.

I went 5x to HH this year and I'll be there again in November,
because I'm gonna go live there next year.

But if you search for good "Discos", i'd prefer StepZ and Hin-Nam-Sai-Suay.

@StepZ: Many (young) Thai girls (about 18-25) there, with good Live-Band playing
modern Thai Pop (Bodyslam, Peacemaker etc.) and 2 DJ's playing HipHop, Thai-Techno.
Maybe I was the first Farang there. Never seen anyone there.. strange...

@Hin-Nam-Sai-Suay: I like this Club (Disco) alot! Maybe because my girlfriend is singer there?! ;)
It has some private Karaoke-rooms for cheap prices (1 Bottle alcohol to enter).
The place, where Students in HH are going is definitely H-N-S-S!!
Super-Looking Girls and good sound with excellent LiveBand.
But even there, not that much Farangs, maybe you didn't know this place?!

I used to be @ Hilton Club many times, when I came to HH first time.
It was ok, but can't compare with StepZ or HNSS!!
Many "old" girls and "ugly's" are at Hilton.

Maybe many Thai's will be angry that i posted those 2 places, because there are really hot girls ;)
Who's gonna be there around 20th Nov - 2. December?

I used to go to Stepz a lot but got put off as there was always teenagers fighting there every night.

Have heard a lot about HNSS but havent been there yet ... maybe its time for a HHAD to HNSS investigation
