Another bloody farang!

Hi All,

Went to HH last week and fell in love with the place. So much so that we decided on the spot to sign a one year lease on a rental a little off the main drag. Doesn't come into effect until 1st December so unfortunately i'll have to wait a couple of months!
Anyway, just thought I'd say hello and hopefully I'll get to meet some of you over time.

Now that I am getting away from such an "anonymous" society such as bangkok, I really look forward to joining the free-wheeling beach going set of hua-hin.
I will definitely try to be a more active member of this site as time goes by.

Welcome to the board and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to make on the spot decisions.

came on Friday, looked at property on Saturday and rented a house on wednesday and move in next week.

There are some places in this world you just get a really good feeling about. For me, I have worked in China, Myanmar, Singapore, Mongolia, Timor, Indonesia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Australia, Thailand.
For me, thailand and hua hin wins hands down.
Hopefully i can make a generous and fulfilling contribution to your society there. Just look out for the guy chanting weird australian football songs and calling all the farangs in hearing distance "stupid freaking touists" and behaving like the "stupid freaking tourist" that he professes to hate!!!
