So United have got two excellent players in Cunha and Mbeumo. Liverpool already got Frimpong. City look like getting Aït-Nouri. Arse are on the cards for either Gyokeres or Sesko. Chelsea have secured Delap and another lad, forget his name. Tottenham...

*crickets*

Oh, we might sack our manager.

Although Utd are interested in Mbeumo, it’s not a done deal just yet!!

I'm a little deflated to be honest after the end to the season we had. He's forever a legend in our books. But his league form has been shocking and, were it not for an incredibly poor bottom three, we could have been in a relegation battle.

I know though, that the tightwad Levy,, is gonna put us on some feckin' rebuild again with no investment in proven talent.

Statement from Ange (in the right thread this time).

When I reflect on my time as Manager of Tottenham Hotspur my overriding emotion is one of pride.

The opportunity to lead one of England's historic football clubs and bring back the glory it deserves will live with me for a lifetime.

Sharing that experience with all those who truly love this club and seeing the impact it had on them is something I will never forget.
That night in Bilbao was the culmination of two years of hard work, dedication and unwavering belief in a dream.

There were many challenges to overcome and plenty of noise that comes with trying to accomplish what many said was not possible.
We have also laid foundations that mean this club should not have to wait 17 more years for their next success.

I have enormous faith in this group of players and know there is much more potential and growth in them.

I sincerely want to thank those who are the lifeblood of the club, the supporters. I know there were some difficult times but I always felt that they wanted me to succeed and that gave me all the motivation I needed to push on.

It's important to acknowledge the hard working people at Spurs who gave me encouragement on a daily basis.

And finally, I want to thank those who were with me every day for the last two years. A fantastic group of young men who are now legends of this football club and the brilliant coaches who never once doubted we could do something special.

We are forever connected. Audere est Facere.

Interesting factoid. No team has ever lost 23 games in a prem season and not been relegated... until Spurs last season. :D

Kepa is likely going to Arse as backup keeper for Raya. Kepa still holds the world record transfer for a goalkeeper at £72 million, 7 years ago. Chelsea will likely get just £5 million of that back and, at 30 years old, which nowadays is not really old for a player... that's a shocking bit of business from Chelsea.

But, Chelsea seem to be able to spend whatever they like anywho.

I don't think Kepa sees himself as a back up

He will trying to get the number 1 jersey IMO

I'd rather have him back at Chelsea than Sanchez!

Liverpool have increased their offer for Florian Wirtz to £113 million plus a reported salary of £400k+ a week. Tottenham have got absolutely no chance of keeping in touch with Pool, City, Arse, Chelsea even feckin' Newcastle and United... not with Levy at the helm.

We'll be a mid-table club (an improvement on last season :cuss: ) for some time.

Ok. Btw I'm sure he is very good!

Sadly the Reds tend to spend quite wisely(although Nunez has turned out to be a bit of a dud).
