Australia pension
Good morning all.centrelink advised 3 weeks ago that there would be a increase of $73 a fortnight to the aged pension this month. Pension arrived into my account last night.how much? 13 cents? What clown back in Aus is for real.can any members on here explain what this is about.
Re: Australia pension
The Aged pension rise commenced Thurs with a rise $4.60/Fortnight. I think whoever told u a rise of 73 bucks was having a lend. Your next payment will have the full amount of $1149 for a single person.

Re: Australia pension
At least you get an increase which is more than us Brits get, plus’s if you get virtually A$2,300 every 4 weeks = £1,117, that’s more than double what I get. Not at all jealous just stating what it is.
Re: Australia pension
The UK increase is 4.1% from next month.
Of course, DB, our pension is frozen in Thailand (ahem!!)

Australia pension
Evening all, unable to access my earlier post on this it will not open.as I mentioned a few of us read that march we would receive a rise in our pension.well we got it? March 22 extra 31 cents?? Wow. last Friday april 5 z increase of $3.99 per fortnight total $4.30. Are centrelink taking the p....ss or what.
Re: Australia pension
They said you’d get an extra $73, but you only got 13 cents? Sounds like a mix‑up. Maybe give it a day or two—sometimes the top‑up comes separately-or ring Centrelink to see what’s going on.

Re: Australia pension
Thanks for the info Dannie .much appreciated. Looks like maybe only Australian residents receive the larger increase. A few of us here receive$1,080.30 per fortnight. $2,160.60 a month, nowhere near what they state $3,370 per month. Thanks again mate, take care
