Premier League 2024-25
Re: Premier League 2024-25
United's best player today was their goalkeeper.
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

Vicario has had surgery on a broken ankle. We now have 36 year old oaf Fraser Forster in goal for the next few months. Not having a half-decent back up keeper is criminal.
Our season has ended.

Did it begin.... <ahem>
Not the most knowledgeable with regards to the sport or "Spuds", but guess what my prediction will be for the forthcoming match....

Match reports suggest that Forster had a pretty good game last night making a number of good saves - maybe Spurs problems are elsewhere?Lost wrote:Vicario has had surgery on a broken ankle. Yes, to be fair he wasn't bad at all. No fault for any of the goals. I'll keep my fingers crossed for him.Dannie Boy wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 8:09 amMatch reports suggest that Forster had a pretty good game last night making a number of good saves - maybe Spurs problems are elsewhere?Lost wrote:Vicario has had surgery on a broken ankle. Bugger that, what about some free tickets? My son-in-law's mate is the press officer (or something like that) at Man City, and my grandson has been to a couple of home games.
This is the way

Today's game is crazy. Arse 4 up in half an hour. 10 minutes on its 4-2. What a game!
Come on the Hammers, what a comeback this would be. I'm guessing 6-2 final score though.

I hope he treats dad-in-law to a future City vs Spurs game. Granted you'll have to sit with the city supporters but, at your age, starting a riot when you cheer a spurs goal? Might get the ol' testosterone back to its glory days for a moment.dtaai-maai wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 11:57 amBugger that, what about some free tickets? Sadly, without a larynx my cheering days are over. I'm very much an armchair spectator these days.
