Hua Hin City football tops

Post by 2dandan »

My 11 year old grandson has asked for a Hua Hin City football top. Is there a stadium shop which sells them and is it open on match days only or all week. If not can anyone suggest the best place to buy one. Thanks.

This information goes back to September, but I would guess it still stands:
To all fan club members
You can now reserve your own club jersey.
Available at the front of the Hua Hin Municipality Stadium [Khao Takiab Stadium]
On the day of the competition, each costs 400 baht.

Thank you for that information. They have an away game tonight but I will make my way over to the stadium today to try and get one. 👍

2dandan, it does state, "On the day of the competition." As such, I'd imagine it would be a wasted journey until the next home game, which is 30 November vs Ratchapracha.

Big Boy, I went to the stadium about 1030am and everything was closed. 2 groundsmen were watering the pitch but otherwise deserted. I returned about 4.30pm and there was some sort of event ongoing. I made my way round to the stand area and entered. There were a couple of empty rooms on ground level but they looked pretty unused. Apart from that, in the stand area or the remainder of the stadium there was nothing which looked like a shop or a stall where strips could be purchased. Im guessing that they might open a pop up shop on match days.

Yes, they certainly used to sell from a gazebo.

Do they have very large sizes? A long time ago I bought a couple of shirts at a shop on the road that goes up and over the hill from the main railway crossing (a long time ago) and I think the max size was a 3XL (Asian). Am sure that Big Boy will know if they sell sizes suitable for 'larger' people as Thai's seem to be getting a lot larger these days too.

I wouldn't know - I walked away from Hua Hin City over 6 years ago. Certainly, back in the day, we had to buy the largest shirt, and get it altered to make it in to a Fat Boy size.

I have now purchased home and away strips.

A Thai friend has a Thai friend who has a Thai friend at the club and after a couple of phone calls were made, 2 hours later the strips were delivered to my door.

It’s not what you know………….😀
