Until 2005 Guiness served in England was brewed in London, but the brewery at Park Royal then closed due to oversupply
At one time, more Guiness was brewed in London than in Dublin but then it fell out of fashion and it's pretty much just an Irish thing now, or Nigerian as for some reason they love the stuff! https://www.guinness-nigeria.com/en

Has anyone tried this place? It seems to be a craft beer bar on the sea side of Naebkerhardt Road that I just spotted this morning:
SORRY - north or south of Chomsin Rd?
Courage is grace under pressure and when circumstances change you change your mind.

I was given a bottle of Guinness 'foreign extra stout' the other day. At 7.5% it's a strong beer. And one of the most peculiar tasting beers I've ever had. I've since purchased it twice myself and still can't decide if I like or or not.
I'll try another tomorrow, see if I can make my mind up.
Interestingly, if I bought the 'brewed in Nigeria' version it's going to set me back an extra 50p (£1.99 for a 330 ml bottle for the non-nigerian option). Not tried that one yet.

You've tickled my interest, Lost. Where can I buy it to try (at home)?

Yup, DB is correct, bought in Tottenham I'm afraid.
I did a brief google escapade for any availability in Thailand. I had no luck.
