Dr. Yuttapol Angkinan, Phetchaburi Civil Society Network Chairman, monitored progress on two new monkey shelters and a 1-million-liter water tank at Huai Sai Wildlife Breeding Station, Cha-am District, on November 4. The facilities, supported by national environmental agencies, the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation and the Department of Water Resources, aim to tackle the city's monkey overpopulation problem.

Re: Huai Sai Wildlife Breeding Station
Ah ah , there must have been an escapee or two hanging around our area recently. I live just down the road from the wildlife centre and never before have I seen monkeys in the area.
Was watching one trying to break into the neighbours upstairs window couple of weeks ago and have been finding unusual droppings on my roof.
