The top model "Sport" goes for about 1.5, as compared to the 2023 Mitsu Pajero Sport top model which is now about 1.7.

Remember that Mitsubishi Motors is 34% owned my Nissan. A lot of similarities between the Terra and the Pajero Sport when reading the specs side by side.

2025 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport facelift revealed

https://www.msn.com/en-au/motoring/news ... 144&ei=114

The facelifted 2025 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has been revealed in Thailand, previewing changes we can expect to see in Australia later this year.

Just one day after leaked images of the updated SUV appeared online, covers have officially come off the Pajero Sport, bringing minor tweaks to extend the life of the ageing model.

Australian timing and specifications for the facelifted Mitsubishi Pajero Sport are expected to be announced this month.

As previously reported, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will gain a new front grille insert and lower bumper garnish, though its headlights and fog lights are unchanged.

There are also new alloy wheel designs, plus a minor revision to its existing rear bumper – while the Thai-market Elite Edition variant, similar to Australia’s GSR, gains black tailgate trim and black mirror caps and door handles instead of the existing chrome.

Inside, changes are minor, with a three-spoke steering wheel from the new Mitsubishi Triton replacing the dated four-spoke wheel.

There are revised graphics for the 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster, as well as a 12.1-inch fold-down screen for rear passengers and quilted leather seats.
There are other Triton-inspired changes too, such as a new ‘4N16’ 2.4-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, producing 135kW and 430Nm.

It’s unclear if that will be exclusive to Thailand-delivered examples, or if it will replace the current 133kW/430Nm turbo-diesel engine currently offered in Australia.

The higher output 150kW/470Nm twin-turbo engine of the new Triton hasn’t been slotted into the updated Pajero Sport, with the SUV sticking with a single turbocharger.

This facelift is the second for the Pajero Sport, following an update in late 2019 which came four years after its 2015 launch.

It’s unclear when the next generation will launch. The Pajero Sport is based on the outgoing Triton ute, of which a new-generation model is now reaching Australia.

They had the rather aptly named GWM Tank on display in MV today:

Actually, I forget what a baht is worth, it's about 40,000 euros which doesn't get you much in the way of a 4WD SUV these days, so maybe it's pretty cheap!

Looking to change our Everest for a younger model from next year. Absolutely love the 2018 one we have and like the look of the next-gen models.
I got in touch with Ford requesting a test-drive of the 'Platinum' flagship model only to be told no test drive available in Thailand.
Pretty piss-poor customer service from Ford.. is it worth raising a complaint to corporate.
Game changer really as Isuzu will deliver an MU-X model to your house for a test-spin.

When I bought my Ranger, they were as rare as rocking horse droppings in Thailand. Definitely no test drive at the time, and it was all that I could do to get them to let me sit inside a customer's vehicle to see if I fitted.

Friends had similar problems when a new Toyota model was introduced (don't remember the name of model), but all that Toyota could do was show a photograph, and produced a list of specifications.

I don't think it is a Ford specific problem.

Toyota’s new rugged SUV to enter production in November
It is rumoured to be called FJ Cruiser or Land Cruiser FJ
It will first launch in Thailand
October 05, 2024 Amit Sharma

It is no secret that Toyota is developing an all-new 3-row SUV, which will be positioned below the Fortuner in its product line-up. The mini Fortuner will be a rugged SUV and is set to enter series production by November this year. Rumoured to be called the FJ Cruiser or Land Cruiser FJ, the new rugged SUV is expected to be launched in Thailand first.

The new Toyota mini Fortuner SUV will be based on the modified version of the IMV platform, which also underpins the Hilux, Fortuner, and Innova Crysta. Called the IMV O, this platform already underpins the Hilux Champ lifestyle pick-up for Thailand. This platform supports both short and long wheelbase versions along with petrol and diesel engine options.

The new Toyota rugged SUV likely to offer seat for 3 adults and will be offered with petrol and diesel engine options. It will come with an all-new design with boxy styling and chunky wheel arches. The SUV will have a wheelbase of around 2,750mm, which is similar to the Fortuner and the Innova Crysta. However, the new SUV will measure around 4500mm in length that's good 300mm shorter than the Fortuner (4,795mm long).

The new SUV is likely to be offered with either a 2.4-litre or 2.8-litre diesel engines. Similar to Hilux, the SUV could come with the diesel engine with a micro-hybrid system. The engine setup consists of a 2.8-litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine coupled to a belt-driven electric motor/generator, a small lithium battery and a convertor. This hybrid setup claims to offer an improved efficiency of up to 10 percent. It also helps in reducing NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) levels. Combined power and torque output stands at 204bhp and 499Nm, respectively.

The new Land Cruiser FJ 3-row SUV is also likely to receive a 2.7-litre petrol engine that produces 166bhp. It could also receive an electric derivative in near future. The SUV will have an automatic gearbox and 4x4 drivetrain with different modes.

The new Toyota SUV will be introduced in markets where Corolla Cross is not on sale. While the Corolla Cross is based on the FWD monocoque platform, the 3-row SUV will be built on a body-on-frame chassis. Toyota Bharat is yet to confirm the launch of the new rugged SUV in our market.

I don't know if this will ever make it to Thailand but it's an Indonesian conversion of the Toyota Champ to produce a budget people carrier SUV:
