Anyone know Chonburi condo?

Hi,

Is anyone familiar with Chonburi Condo, Khoa Takieb?

I'm looking to rent a condo there for 3 months. As with everything, it looks good on the photos, but just wondering what you thought. Basically it's a working holiday - I will be running our business via laptop from wherever we stay plus hopefully relaxing a lot too!, so we need hi-speed internet and IDD, air con and that's it really.

(Oh, and don't forget pool, beach etc. lots of lovely thai food and sun obviously.)

I've been quoted 30,000 month. Is that about right?

Any thoughts gratefully received.

Where in Chonburi? Chonburi City, Sri Racha, Pattaya, Jomtien etc. Give me the link to their web site and I'll take a look to see if I'm familiar with the place. Pete

PS: Chances of the place having high speed internet are slim.

Think she said Khao Takieb....sounds like, but no where near Chonburi.

Ow, I thought she meant the name of the condo complex was Khao Takieb? Oh well. Pete

Thanks for the replies and sorry for the confusion.

I believe the name of the condo is Chonburi (but I have also seen it spelt Jamburee). It's in Khao Takiep. Web link is below.

re: internet, the agent has told me that they can have this installed for when we arrive at a cost of 1600 baht month.

Is it possible that he might not be being entirely truthful? Can you get hi-speed connection in HH? This is actually crucial as we won't be ble to come if not.

As far as I know mate their are no high-speed lines in Thailand apart from BKK and Phuket, maybe Chang Mai too...

But anywhere else is a long shot...

I've got to step out of this one Kate as I responded based upon you saying "Chonburi" which is close to where I am. I'm kind of on the HHAD eastern flank near Pattaya so can't comment on condo or availability of HSI in HH. If the manager says he can get it, just make sure your contract states you can leave with no penalty if he cannot. Pete
