And then Utd go and score in the 87th minute, only for Villa to equalise in the 7th minute of added time - sounds exciting!!

Good game! Villa will be pissed, a chance to go top of the table. And with the Arse and Pool playing against each other tomorrow the fans must have been thinking about that xmas top spot!

Great day of football! Started with United having another stinker. Not scored for 4 or 5 games now. Most defeats before xmas since 1930. Next, though Spurs were crap for the most part, we fluked a lucky win. Newcastle beaten by Luton. And though I was somewhat hoping for a Liverpool win (dislike both teams) at least the Arse didn't win. Cracking game that one!

After taking only 1 point from 5 games during that horrible spell, the mighty spurs are in the Champion's League spot for xmas, 8 points ahead of United, 14 ahead of Chelsea and only 4 points off top spot. :D

Hate to spoil your Xmas enthusiasm, but Spurs have 20 games left in which to fall apart!! But one things for sure, (two actually) they’ll finish ahead of Utd and Chelsea.

Yes you were lucky that our normally stout defence were asleep for the first 20 minutes.

Debatable disallowed goal and the closest goal line technology decision(albeit correct) that I've seen in years

Onwards...

Well, I saw one of the matches - and my "Gypsy-like-Prediction" of Bath Rugby being top has come to pass!! :D

Back to the Wendyball, why weren't Liverpool awarded a penalty for the "Handyball"?

Yes a bit of a strange one that, but then there have been countless other strange decisions so one more to add to the list - however on the balance of play, a draw was probably a fair result (unless you’re a Liverpool or Arsenal supporter)!!

A serious and honest question (for once), but I suspect winning the Premier League entails a few more quid than finishing 2nd - though of course the "Top Four" (?) Will be in "The Champions League" for yet more GOLD! Very little in points for the clubs at the moment, so how much of an effect do decisions like this make?

I don’t think they publish exact figures (they’re probably too embarrassed by the huge sums) but I don’t think it makes a huge difference between 1st and 2nd and of course qualifying for the Champions League is a big money earner!!

A new low for Chelsea today, so many things not right, so many players not at the standard needed and Poch seemingly not knowing what to do. No-one expected Chelsea to be challenging, but we did expect progress and we haven't got that. It's the lack of individual responsibility that bothers me. I'm not sure that enough players really care.

Fair play to Man Utd (and their fans on here)

Didn't think they had that in them!

Yes at 0-2 down they looked similar to a turkey waiting to get stuffed, but somehow pulled one out of the hat!!

Forrest got a very good result against Newcastle and Wood (who I don’t rate) got a hat trick in the process!!

Easy game for Everton tonight Image

Well I was only joking about Everton having an easy game and whilst it wasn’t a completely one-sided game, City got the 3 points reasonably comfortable. Still looking like Everton will stay up!!
