A Mamasan in a bar down the 'Back Soi' (The one behind/running parallel to Binta) would have a trick/scam to boost her takings every so often..
...If, late in the evening, and things were quiet...If a tourist came in looking slightly the worse for wear the girls would try make him comfortable, then once the guy had got a few drinks in, and had 2 or 3 beers himself..the Mamasan would drop a beer bottle on/thru to glass-topped coffee table SMASH!..and blame the tourist for this!!
Police would come instantly, cart the man off in a hail of protest from both sides, he got fined next morning, police got paid off, Mamason made a few 1000B. Then I think word got out about this. No hypnosis here tho'

UT--I think that you come to HH on or close to NY day every year, correct?? So you should be a very good judge of the level of business activity in the entertainment and restaurant sectors. How does jan 2020 compare with other years??

Shame UT hasn’t been back on to finish his very entertaining thread, I was wondering why then I looked at the tone of mods moving of UT’s post and fell in he hasn’t posted since and I’m pretty sure they have the internet in the UK...

Either that, or it’s taking him much longer these days to recover from his exploits :naughty:
