^ And what about the tyre pollution caused by the 30 ton truck delivering fuel to the service station?

It would appear we’ve been worrying about exhaust pollution unnecessarily - it’s all in the tyres!!

Amazing BS from the anti CH / EV crowd. Sadly more than a few ignorant folks take it all in as true.

Mind boggling people can't think for themselves. After about a century of the dirtiest, un eco friendly, least efficient modes of polluting transport option (in 21st Century), and they can't seem to move forward.

Keep believing the fossil fuel BS propaganda being spread non stop. Too sad to even be funny any more.

If you’re an ICE fan, you’re going to try and find fault with EV’s.

If you’re an EV convert, you’re going to decry anything to do with ICE vehicles (even though the majority of us were happy to drive them for the past 40-50 years)!!

The fact is that EV’s are not completely free from polluting the environment - their manufacture creates considerable pollution (especially in battery production) and then the ongoing recharging which in part, requires fossil fuels to be burnt.

Their lifetime use of pollutants might be less in an EV than an ICE vehicle, but please don’t try to make out that one is black and the other is white - it’s just a case of varying shades of grey!!

A quote from Ofgem in the UK

“We may well see 14 million EVs on UK roads by 2030. By 2050, electric cars and vans are expected to need 65–100TWh of electricity annually: an increase of 20–30% over today's levels.”

You'd think by now, that thought would be enough to put solar panels on every available roof. Shame fossil fuel corporations still control politicians and the energy you need.

Simple solutions for simple problems.
